Aims and Objectives
The primary aim of Zoological Records and Reviews (ZRR) e-ISSN: 3117-7530 is to promote rigorous and ethical zoological research by:

Peer Review and Editorial Process
All manuscripts submitted to ZRR undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process, with each manuscript evaluated by a minimum of two independent reviewers with relevant subject-matter expertise. Reviewers assess submissions for originality, scientific quality, methodological soundness, ethical compliance, and relevance to the journal's scope. The typical time from submission to first editorial decision is 12–14 weeks.
Editorial decisions are made independently by the editorial team and are not influenced by financial considerations. ZRR does not charge any Article Processing Charge (APC); publishing with the journal is entirely free for authors.
Open Access Policy
The journal follows a fully open access publishing model, providing immediate and free access to all published content. Readers may read, download, share, and reuse articles in accordance with the journal's licensing terms.
Copyright and Licensing
Authors retain copyright of their published work. All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), allowing unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction, provided the original authors and source are properly cited.
